Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Phone Harness Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Phone Harness", "we"). They apply to Phone Harness Cloud: the hosted phones, the API at api.phone-harness.com and the dashboard at phone-harness.com. The open-source phone-harness software is licensed separately under the MIT License and is not covered here.

The service

Phone Harness Cloud rents you temporary Android phones. A phone exists for the session length you choose, then it and everything on it are deleted. During the beta capacity is limited, and we may change features, prices and limits with notice on this site.

Your account

You must be at least 18 and provide accurate details. You are responsible for everything done with your account and API keys, including by agents and software you run. Keep keys secret and revoke any that may have leaked.

Acceptable use

Use the phones only for lawful purposes and only with services whose terms allow automated or non-personal access. Do not use them for fraud, spam, harassment, evading bans or sanctions, creating accounts in bulk against a service's rules, attacking networks, or handling content you have no right to handle. We may suspend or end sessions and accounts that break these rules, without refund of used credit.

Prices and credits

Phones are billed per minute at the rate shown in the dashboard and the API, from the moment a phone is ready until its session ends. Boot time is free. You pay by adding prepaid credit; purchased credit does not expire. Promotional credit, including the starting balance on new accounts, may be withdrawn if unused after a period we announce and has no cash value. Refunds are described in our refund policy.

Your data

Data on a phone is yours and is deleted when the session ends. We keep the account, billing and session records described in our privacy policy. Do not put data on a phone that you cannot afford to lose; sessions can end early on failure or exhausted credit.

Availability and liability

The service is provided as is, without warranty, during the beta. We do not promise uptime or that a phone will boot. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Changes and termination

You can stop using the service at any time; unused purchased credit is refundable under the refund policy. We can suspend or end your access for breach of these terms or if we shut the service down, in which case unused purchased credit is refunded.
